Kirsten Sochinski, PA-C
Kirsten was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with a minor in Psychology from the University of New Mexico, graduating with honors. Kirsten took on multiple extracurricular activities in her undergraduate years. She volunteered as a Certified Crisis Hotline Specialist, worked as an EMT and medical scribe, and helped develop, conduct and present clinical research at the University of New Mexico’s Emergency Department and Trauma Center as a student clinical researcher. She went on to receive her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of St. Francis, where she cultivated a deep passion for dermatology.
She later gained experience as an urgent care physician assistant where her longstanding passion for dermatology was reinforced through her work experiences where she could manage numerous acute and chronic dermatologic conditions and perform procedural work. She has a strong commitment to practicing evidence based and up-to-date care and is currently advancing her knowledge in dermatology through a Diplomate Fellowship Program. She is also an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the NM Academy of Physician Assistants.
She enjoys spending her free time reading, traveling, learning musical instruments and spending time with family, friends and dog.
Kirsten looks forward to offering comprehensive services in general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology for individuals of all ages.
